Anna & Mark. Engagement Session.

Another lovely couple on the blog post this morning, and this bleak Wednesday is lookin’ mighty fine. Nothing like a good engagement session to make the sun come out. Not actual sunshine, but you get what I mean. Even though it would be freakin’ sweet if couples in love could change the weather. Where’s BD at a time like this?? I need 80 degrees and sunny for some tanning.

Even though we shot Anna & Mark’s engagement on a chilly January afernoon, they still rocked it out. Anna was shivering in that little blue dress,  but she was keeping a straight face for the camera and pulling some Top Model moves with acting warm in frigid weather. I was kind of in love with their great chemistry and sweet interaction with one another. You can tell why these two are together, so obvious and I ♥ it.

So when we stumbled upon this awesome location I was thanking the good graces that I was brought up in the South. Give me swings and ivy-covered porches all day long. I couldn’t get enough of the sweet southern charm of this place. Plus, the ivy was pretty amazing. I just wanted to lay in the middle of it and daydream for hours. Such a beautiful spot to celebrate these two tying the knot.

I’ve gotta pay homage to the amazing tree in the last photos. With the afternoon sun just right, I feel like I was in a Nicholas Sparks’ movie. Love at first sight is right. Light like this is what makes me grin from ear to ear. My face hurts just talking about it.

Let’s see some photos before I give myself a perma-grin.

Congrats Anna & Mark! So excited for you both. : )

[…] I know that beautiful weather is just waiting around the corner when I start getting to photograph engagement sessions. Liz & Derick’s love-filled shoot marked my second engagement session for 2012. (Anna & Mark had a January e- session that kicked off my wedding season fun this year.  You can check out here!) […]
