This weekend has been a blast. The End. Not only did I get to spend a couple days with some great friends of mine, but I also got to see them get married at an absolutely beautiful location. I can’t say it gets any better than that.
I have known Heather and Bruce for years and years, and when they asked me to be there as their wedding photographer my heart skipped a beat. This was going to be awesome. That’s one thing that always gets me. As a wedding photog, I can’t get enough of watching things come full circle. Plus, getting to watch it from the eyes of a person who got to see them from the very beginning- just starting to kick off this lifelong journey- I felt so lucky to document their day. Okay, okay. I better stop now- I’ve got to save something for their wedding blog post that will be up in several weeks! There’s so much positivity about Heather and Bruce as a couple, and I have hard time not rambling on about them.
This session has been staring me in the face for the past couple months from my computer screen. Oh, how I have been just itching to post these of the now Mrs. MacLeod. The day is finally here, and I’m so pumped. These were shot in the same location as their engagements, and we had a gang of girls: me, Heather, Karen (Heather’s mom ), and Teresa (Bruce’s mom)…. so you know that dress was SPOTLESS by the end of our rock the dress session in this rustic and oh-so awesome location.
Image time! Woo-hoo!
