TGIF! : ) Weekend is finally here, and lovin’ it. No doubt. My eyes feel like they’re going to pop out of my head for being on the computer so long, but I am addicted to my laptop, what can I say. I think BD is jealous of my relationship with Mr. Macintosh. I was all over the internet yesterday purchasing new equipment, replacing outdated ones, and backing up everything I’ve ever touched photo wise in my computer. I was productive and to my surprise, on a bare minimum of caffeine. I don’t know what’s gotten into me lately, but I’m just in little worker bee mode. I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that I’ve been reading and learning so much here lately, and I’m just tickled to pieces to have so much information at my fingertips. The internet is a wonderful, wonderful thing, ladies and gents.
Obviously, blogging has become a new hobby of mine. I love doing this, it really does wonders to clear my head and share what’s the latest and how my business is progressing. I love mixing the personal with the business. I love that about my work.. it’s both. I see no need to separate them. Only under one condition, if my work is interfering with my “me” time, which it often does. For now though, that’s okay because I’m just taking off and sacrifices will be made. As long as I’ve got a camera in my hand, you’ll find me with a smile on my face… might have a pair of bags under my eyes.. but paired with a big ole grin, nonetheless…
On top of all this new equipment (I love the sound of that.. ) I’m about to put in a large order with Etsy. I’ve been shopping for my craft supplies at antique stores mainly, and one of my very good friends at work, Stephanie Barnes (And if you’re reading.. HI Steph!), has been urging me to seek out supplies on Etsy. Every time I would talk to her, I would get so motivated but when I’d get home to order, I’d get swamped with all my search results and give up. Well surprise, surprise! I have literally a cart full of items I love equally… YAY! I can’t believe I could focus for long enough to actually come up with a good amount of stuff but I did it… The mailman is going to my best friend next week.. I’m gonna pumped up when I see him driving by : )
Yay blog post.. Now for photo time.. whoop!
I decided to include a little personal photo today of some artwork by the famous Mr. Brian Dale.. here’s what I found left on the couch after he read my blog post yesterday about the beach… it’s just me and him chillin’ while he plays me some tunes on the ole guitar.. gotta love this guy.. : )
