Ever since going full time photography, I’ve been spending a lot of time with my mom. Poolside and planted in front of the tv, we’ve been doing some serious bonding here lately. Something about growing up that makes you appreciate family so much more, so when I get asked to shoot a family session, it just tickles me to pieces.
April and I have stuck together through that yucky, rainy late April/ early May weather we all knew so well. We rescheduled several times ( sad face- boo on you, rain!) so when we finally had a pretty day, I was thrilled.
We bounced back a couple location ideas, and finally settled on this old building on the West Side of Cookeville. I could not be happier with the results. They all look so super cute : ) Props to April on the outfit choices!
I hope this is just the beginning of lots more family sessions to come this summer!
April and Jerry- Thank you both so much for contacting me about these! I had so much fun with your family. You have beautiful children, and Amari is a little model. I love it! I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting to kick off my family summer sessions : )
