lacey wilmoth {featured stylists: noelle smith + allison fox}

I’m smiling so big my face hurts. I love firsts. First time I learned to ride a bike- disaster- but it resulted in a timeless VHS of me crying speeding down the Tech track when I was 6. First time I put together my very own vacuum cleaner. It started puffing smoke only a short time later- but I put that puppy together. I am woman..And of course, gotta say it- first time I picked up a camera. Hooked. Firsts are awesome.

Another first to check off the list : body paint session and my own personal clan of stylists at five in the morning. I think that’s a pretty awesome first and I feel lucky : )

Like I said in Christine and Maci’s blog post, I love working with old friends. These girls were no different. I’ve known them since I was just a young ‘un and I was so happy to be able to shoot on Noelle’s families land where we had high school bonfires and made documentary films when we faked sick to watch the Charlie’s Angels marathon. I loved it.

We had originally planned on an sunset session, but with everyone’s schedules being so hectic, we just bit the bullet and got up super duper early. Worth it? Um, yup!

Allison and Noelle helped paint this lovely lady, and Lacey styled her own hair and picked out those rockin outfits. It was definitely a team effort, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience and the result. Another first for the books…

[…] firsts. Again! With the “firsts” tangent, you read about it last time in Lacey’s body art blog post. So I won’t divulge into it all over again, but you have got to know that I am just tickled […]
